超限定品のご紹介です！ ------------------ 【テイストノート】 ザクロや赤系果実のジューシーさに、コロンビア産マラゴらしいビーツのアーシーさ。ポジティブなタンニックと甘みの余韻。 【Story】 コロンビアの中でも特に標高の高い農園が多いリナーレス地域からコロンビアでは他の品種に比べ生産量が比較的少ないマラゴシーペのウォッシュドプロセスのコーヒーです。 マラゴと呼ばれるのが一般的で、テロワールはスイートベジやフローラルと表現されることが多いのがコロンビアのマラゴシーペの特徴となっています。このマラゴシーペの生産者であるエレナさんには、マラゴシーペに関する逸話があり、彼女がコロンビアでも最初にマラゴシーペを広く生産した人物として知られ、ナリーニョのマイクロクライメイトに適合したエレナさんのマラゴの種がコロンビア中に広がったそうです。 一風変わったコロンビアのマラゴシーペを是非お楽しみください。 A Very Limited Release! 【Tasting Notes】 Juicy pomegranate and red fruits, complemented by the earthy, beetroot-like character typical of Colombian Maragogipe. Pleasant tannins lead to a lingering, sweet finish. 【Story】 This washed Maragogipe comes from the Linares region, home to some of the highest-altitude coffee farms in Colombia. Maragogipe is produced in relatively small quantities in Colombia compared with many other varieties. Commonly known simply as “Marago,” Colombian Maragogipe is often characterized by sweet vegetal and floral notes that reflect its distinctive terroir. There is also an interesting story behind Elena, the producer of this coffee. She is known as one of the first producers to cultivate Maragogipe extensively in Colombia. Her Maragogipe adapted exceptionally well to Nariño’s unique microclimate, and seeds from her trees are said to have eventually spread to producers throughout Colombia.
